So, how does this all work?
Once you've booked an appointment to play our game, you should arrive 15 - 20 minutes early to check in, sign our waiver and store your belongings.
Am I going to be locked in, unable to exit the room, until the 60 minutes are over?
Absolutely not. Within the game, none of our doors lock behind you. While the game consists of a series of rooms, you are completely able to leave the game, at any time, through any previously unlocked doors, to include the one you walked through to start the game.
How does it work if we don't have enough people to book an entire room?
That won't be a problem. Ideally, our rooms are best solved with the collaboration of at least 4 - 6 players. If there are others interested in playing at the same time, we will simply combine you with another group. The more minds, the better!
Where should I park?
There are plenty of parking options around Springfield's Great Escape.
Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of Downtown Springfield, MA. Our official address is 141 State Street. We can be found on State Street across from the Mass Mutual Center loading dock, beside the Holiday Inn Express hotel, and within a block of the MGM Springfield Hotel and Casino.
What are your hours of operations?
We are here Tuesday - Thursday from 11am - 10pm and Friday - Sunday from 10am - Midnight.
Is there an ideal dress code?
No, feel free to wear whatever you like. Our only recommendation is that you dress comfortably.
How long is the full experience?
You will be placed in an interactive environment and given 60 minutes to make your escape. If you get out sooner, awesome! Best times are recorded and posted on our blogs. If you fail to make your escape, the game master will come get you after your time has expired.
Will I need to arrive early?
Yes. It is crucial, in order to keep all game times on track, that patrons arrive early to review game rules and sign a liability waver.
How early should my group arrive?
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your start time. This should be sufficient to go over the rules and sign a liability waver.
Can I book in person?
Yes. You may book in person or you can book online at www.springfieldsgreatescape.com.
Do you accept walk-ins?
While we absolutely accept walk-ins, to ensure there is a room available for you and your group, we recommend you book in advance. Keep in mind that if another group is already booked for the time you are requesting, we will be unable to add you to that room unless your group is small enough to add to the existing group without going over the recommended 8 persons per experience.
Why am I not able to book a room for an hour from now?
In order to keep all the bookings in order, we ask that you call us or walk in if you would like to book within 2 hours of your desired start time.
Do you allow birthday parties?
Not only do we allow them, we love them! Birthday parties are encouraged to call in advance to schedule a booking time and ensure available space. We love to celebrate this and any of your special days with you.
I want to do a corporate booking with coworkers. Can you accommodate large groups?
Yes. We love to entertain your corporate events and team building exercises. Please call ahead to schedule your next corporate event.

What is the maximum number of people allowed in the rooms at one time?
The maximum number of people allowed in our rooms at one time is 8. However, exceptions can be made should you call in to secure an override.
What is your refund policy?
If you are unable to make your booking, we will gladly refund you money when you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. In the event that we must close due to inclement weather, you will be asked to reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule, your money will be fully refunded.
